Migraines
Description : These headaches are triggered by stress, food sensitive, fatigue, hormone imbalance, and dehydration.
Symptoms : Include throbbing pain, commonly on one side of the head, nausea, and sensitivity to light.
Root Causes : According to TCM, migraines are caused by liver yang excess. Overwork, anger, frustration, little downtime and lack of relaxation are the root causes.
Our Recommendation :
Use Real Salt first, with water, to see if that solves your issue. Next would be to have magnesium and could be in the form of 1-2 tablespoons of either Avocado or Macadamia Nut oil. Natural Remedies :
Feverfew - Reduces frequency and symptoms. Can take 100-300 mg up to 4 times daily.
Salt - Trace minerals present in these types of salt, such as magnesium and potassium, may help in reducing the severity and duration of migraines. Magnesium, in particular, is known to have a calming effect on the nervous system and can potentially help relax blood vessels, which may be beneficial for migraine sufferers.
CBD Oil - Proven pain reliever. Take 100 mg at the first sign of headache.
Butterbur - Lowers inflammation and restores normal blood flow in the brain. Take 50 to 75 mg twice daily.
Other Remedies : Try chiropractic, acupuncture, digital fasting, walking in nature, yoga, a consistent sleep schedule.
